The mobile clinic was started in 2013 by members of Sopu Fanm pou Fanm to provide basic health care and support to very poor women living in various neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince:
Camp Canaan, an IDP camp on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince is home to some 200 women and children. It is on the very top of a hill which can only be accessed via a treachous unpaved road. It is dry with little water but the women have made it their home.
Jalouzi, a poor hillside neighborhood in Petion-Ville, Port-au-Prince and home to over 200,000 people with no clinic, no water, electricity or sanitation and what few steps there are, are broken.
Home for the elderly in Delmas 3. Members of SFpF together with youths from Sopudep for Life bath and dress residents as well as supply them with toiletries and other necessities.
